Psychotherapy

I work with individuals in psychotherapy to address issues that have been difficult to manage or resolve on one’s own. Overwhelming life events or transitions sometimes bring on these concerns. Feeling discouraged by relationships, career, and family dynamics are often other reasons why people often seek psychotherapy. I work with individuals in psychotherapy to help with both immediate concerns and longer-term issues.

Psychoanalysis

I am a board-certified psychoanalyst working with individuals in psychoanalysis to address current difficulties that are causing distress and underlying issues contributing to patterns that have been difficult to change.

Couples Therapy

I have over 20 years of experience working with couples in therapy with the goal of helping each member of the relationship feel confident that their concerns will be heard and that the sessions are productive. As the therapy proceeds, couples often find themselves back on track and equipped with a greater understanding of themselves and their relationship.

Family Therapy

I work with adults in family therapy to facilitate conversations about complex topics in a way that helps each family member feel heard and understood. The aim of my work with family members is to address current issues that have been difficult to address and those issues that are rooted in the family’s history. Creating a setting that is empathic to individual experiences while promoting personal responsibility can promote desired change.
